John co-founded Strategic Partners in 2000. Since that time, John's primary focus has been in leading corporate turnarounds and financial restructurings. John has also worked closely with a number of national and regional banks to provide due diligence services and to assess options and develop strategy for resolving troubled loans. His advisory services include development of business models and financials, cash flow projections, implementation of accounting, financial reporting, job cost and inventory management systems. John has significant bankruptcy and chapter 11 reorganization experience, including development of successful reorganization plans and taking the lead role in negotiations between creditors and debtors. John has performed these services for a variety of industries including technology services, manufacturing and production, commercial contracting, retail and wholesale distribution companies.
Prior to co-founding Strategic Partners, John had 15 years of combined experience in public accounting, management consulting and as a CFO for a $30M wholesale distribution and manufacturing company. His experience during this time included development of accounting and internal control systems, financial reporting, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiation of bank and equity financing. From 1997 -2000 John provided interim CFO services for a national multi-billion dollar wholesale distribution company, to assist with the restructuring and roll-up of recently acquired companies.
John is a C.P.A. and has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Baltimore.
