Mike has over 20 years of experience in the successful development and deployment of computer applications across diverse environments with experience in virtually every business sector including transportation, manufacturing, finance, insurance, education and utilities. Mike brings a wide breadth of experience including serving as senior consultant, analyst, technical advisor, lead developer and data base administrator. He has worked on large mainframe systems supporting thousands of users to desktop applications, with an emphasis on designing custom database solutions that are tailored to the client's needs. Mike's technical experience includes development in databases including Oracle, Microsoft's SQL Server, Access and IBM's DB2. He has developed custom internet, intranet, client server, data warehouse and mainframe applications and is experienced in every phase of the project life cycle from feasibility studies and requirements definition to post implementation support.
Mike's previous clients include Johns Hopkins University, T. Rowe Price Associates, Procter and Gamble, Verizon Communications, CSX Transportation and Constellation Energy Group. His achievements included automating a process which tracks critical phone circuits (Emergency 911 among others) to ensure a single outage will not adversely affect phone service, especially important for emergency 911. This system automatically reviewed all circuits monthly; previously it took a team of 12 engineers' 14 months to review the circuits.
Mike graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore with a B.S. in Information Systems Management.
